there´s an axe and there are the stix
make a noise and if it sticks
add a chord or three or four
and a band is formed like non before
there come the fans more than a few
if you´re good in what you do
cope with the fame… fame and glory
cope with the fame… same old story
there´s a T-shirt that read just wär
and a star is born like none before
…comes a big stage and a big deal
the booze and the drugs and the hearts to steal
all ciphers call you a corporate whore
and there comes envy where it wasn´t before
ideas come and then cease to come
with the booze and the drugs and the junk and the scum
there come the differences a full-time score
and the friendship is no more…
cope with the fame… fame and glory
cope with the fame… same old fuck

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
