do you believe in god, do you believe that god is love
and if I don´t believe will you burn me at the stake
do you believe in god, do you love your fellow men
and if I don´t share that love, will you divide me in quarters
will you chant the prayers to dope the children´s brains
to kill their fantasy and imaginary friends
brainwash the innocent while four fifths of the world
without no proof believe in imaginary god
inquisition, heresy
god closed his eyes let there be genocide
god turned his head away and let the children die
burn the witch and heresy
so that god can sense the smoke and see the fire
if there is no god then your faith his a joke
a lazy brain´s disease and there´s no need for quarrel
if there is no god then your fait his a waste of time
embarrassing mistake and waste of our true power
(do you believe in god, do you believe in heaven
are you agraid of god, are you afraid of hell?)
are you afraid of god, of eternal punishment
and if I don´t share that fear, will you burn me at the stake
do you believe in god, do you believe in heaven
and if I don´t share that hope, will you stone me to death
Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
